Refund and Returns Policy

At LAM ALIF ART GALLERY, we pride ourselves on delivering premium, high-quality artwork. We want you to be completely satisfied with your acquisition. Please review our policy carefully to understand how we handle returns and refunds for physical artworks.

1. Return Window

We offer a 14-day return policy. You have 14 days after receiving your artwork to request a return. If 14 days have passed since your delivery date, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the artwork must be:

  • In the exact same condition that you received it.
  • Undamaged, unhung, and unaltered.
  • Repackaged in its original protective gallery packaging and crating.
  • Accompanied by the original receipt, Certificate of Authenticity, and any other included documentation.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of pieces cannot be returned. These include:

  • Custom-commissioned artworks or personalized pieces.
  • Artworks sold at a discount during specific sales or promotional events.
  • Gift cards.

4. Damages and Issues During Transit

Please inspect your order immediately upon reception. If the artwork is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide clear photographs of the damaged artwork and the exterior packaging so we can evaluate the issue and initiate a claim with our shipping couriers.

5. The Return Process

To start a return, please contact us at curator@lamalifgallery.com. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Artworks sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

6. Return Shipping Costs

Because of the delicate nature and high value of our collection, the buyer is responsible for paying all return shipping costs, including proper insurance and tracking. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your refund. We strongly advise using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for the full value of the artwork.

7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned artwork, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 to 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
